A film reviewer on TikTok who goes by the name of @EccyReviews, has shared the top 10 films he always recommends to people but that they never watch.
One film which takes a spot on the list is Dog Day Afternoon, starring Al Pacino.
In his video, the film fan says: “Another fantastic film I always recommend is Dog Day Afternoon.
“This is a true story starring Al Pacino – it is probably my favourite performance of his.
“It is honestly just one of the best films you will ever see.”
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an impressive rating of 96%.
The film tells the story of a man whose bank robbery to fund his partner’s surgery turns into a chaotic, televised hostage crisis.
Based on a true story, this film is a tense, character-driven crime drama.
One person who watched the film said: “Awesome movie, probably Al Pacino’s best performance. This was my first time seeing the movie and it holds up 50 years later.”
